Atascadero City Parks

 

 

There are six parks located in the City of Atascadero. Atascadero Lake Park has a total of 25 acres. Paloma Creek Park 23 acres, Traffic Way Park 3 acres, Sunken Gardens located in front of City Hall totals 2 acres and Colony Park Community Center, a beautiful new teen center located on Traffic Way.  Heilmann Park, located next to Chalk Mountain Golf course at 10,000 El Bordo Rd. has a total of 37 acres and is operated by the County of San Luis Obispo Parks Dept. For more information on City Parks, contact the Parks & Recreation Dept. Paloma Creek Park
11665 Viejo Camino, Atascadero

The “sports park” sits on the south-end of Atascadero and features 2 lighted softball fields, a little league field, playground, restrooms, 2 multi-purpose/soccer fields, a large covered BBQ area and an equestrian arena. Colony Park Community Center 
5599 Traffic Way, Atascadero

This beautiful new facility includes a Gymnasium, Teen Lounge/Game Room, Cafe, Conference Room, Dance/Exercise Room, Arts & Crafts Room. Adjacent to Community Center are 2 Softball Fields, (formerly Traffic Way Park) complete with Restrooms, Parking and Play Area. Visit www.atascadero.org. for additional information.


George C. Beatie Skate Park
5493 Traffic Way, Atascadero

George C Beatie Indoor Skate Park is located at 5599 Traffic Way in the Colony Park Community Center.  Fully staffed and open to the public, the facility has flat rails, bars, a bank, a pyramid and two quarter pipes. All participants must have a signed waiver form prior to park entry and helmets with straps are required.  Knee and elbow pads recommended. Apple Valley Park 
1980 San Ramon Road 

Open to the public, Apple Valley Park includes open fields, BBQ areas and Walking Path.
